Zavadil Honored as Finalist
for Entrepreneur of the Year |

Larry Zavadil, president of American Solutions for Business, was honored as a finalist recently during Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year awards ceremony at the Minneapolis Hilton.
Zavadil was one of 20 finalists from Minnesota and the Dakotas who were recognized for building and leading dynamic and growing businesses. Eight of the 20 nominees received the prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in the following categories: Manufacturing, Master, Retail, Technology, Life Sciences, Socially Responsible, Turnaround, and Realizing Business Potential.
Minnesota Senator Cal Larson, serving his sixth term in the state senate, nominated Zavadil earlier this year, sighting him as a man of integrity and vision. “He is a leader dedicated to giving back to his community and I was proud to nominate him for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.”
The entrepreneur program is in its sixteenth year, honoring individuals of vision, passion, leadership and achievement. The program pays tribute to entrepreneurs with regional, national and global awards programs in more than 100 cities and 35 countries.
American Solutions for Business, headquartered in Glenwood, Minnesota, is a 23-year-old, employee-owned company, distributing business documents, systems, technology, packaging, office supplies, promotional products and electronic solutions. The company employs over 500 sales associates and nearly 300 support personnel. The company lists annual sales of over $223 million. |
