Minnesota-based distributor, American Solutions for Business (ASB) has recently acquired a sales group from Portland, Oregon. The team, lead by Kevin Welch, includes six sales associates and three staff people. This group was originally part of American Eagle Graphics, a west coast business that was founded in 1985. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

In the past 12 months, American’s sales force has grown by nearly 11 percent. In order to assist both the individual sales associate as well as the groups that come aboard, American has built an Implementation Team whose mission is to ensure seamless transitions.
ASB is an industry-leading distributor of printing, promotional products, eCommerce, office supplies and strategic marketing solutions. With over 500 sales associates, a support staff of nearly 300 employees and 35,000+ clients, American currently lists booked sales at $200 million. The company was founded in 1981 and has been employee-owned since 2000.
