ASB Names New Vendor Relations Director

JUSTIN ZAVADIL
American Solutions for Business (ASB) has named Justin Zavadil Director of Vendor Relations Effective May 1, 2008. Justin is the 28-year-old son of Larry and Diane Zavadil, the founders of the company. He’s a graduate of the University of Minnesota and has been working in commercial and real estate development for the past four years. Prior to that, Justin was an ASB Sales Associate in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. In that position, he gained knowledge and experience with ASB’s sales processes and an understanding of their extensive vendor network.
As Director of Vendor Relations, Justin will work to maintain a focus on ASB’s Partners for Progress (PFP) vendor program and make improvements that will bring value to sales associates and vendors alike. During his first month in the position, he has spent time getting up to speed at the Home Office in Glenwood, Minnesota and has participated in Sales Team meetings. “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed becoming reacquainted with everyone back at the Home Office and I look forward to working as part of that team, serving vendors and sales associates from across the country,” said Justin. He will continue to evaluate and restructure the Vendor Relations Department as needed to ensure a vibrant and supportive unit. In doing so, he will work closely with Larry Zavadil, Wayne Martin and the rest of the Sales Team.
As part of the ongoing realignment of the Home Office, Wayne Martin, who has been serving as Director of Vendor Relations and VP of Sales Operations, will be working with sales associates and customers in the field to coordinate major and national account opportunities through our Strategic Operation Support Team. “Justin has come up to speed quickly over the last few weeks and has been a key resource in driving enhancements to the vendor program. This is an exciting time because the Business Protection Plan and the American PeopleSoft Solution (APS) allow us to bring more value to vendors and sales associates then ever before. Justin has already started communicating these enhancements to our vendors and has updated the vendor materials,” said Martin.
