|Leanne Schillinger, ASB Sales Associate from Great Falls, Montana, was one of 10 women selected as Women to Watch in the promotional products industry. Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) announced the list on Friday, February 18, at their Women’s Summit in Dallas. The event featured a reception and luncheon with former First Lady, Laura Bush, serving as keynote speaker. |
Bush, one of America’s most popular first ladies and author of the best-selling memoir Spoken from the Heart, has investigated and showcased successful programs for early childhood education, at-risk youth, global literacy and preservation of our national parks and our country’s national treasures.
|“Each woman honored this year is a trailblazer who is making a big impact on the ad specialty industry,” said Nicole Rollender, editor of ASI’s Stitches magazine and director of education. “Recipients include entrepreneurs who started their own businesses with nothing and grew them into super companies, million-dollar salespeople, marketing mavens who always know how to create just the right business buzz, and ad specialty veterans who are the favorite mentors for industry newcomers.”|
Schillinger joined American Solutions for Business in 1994 and runs her business from her home, serving clients throughout Montana. “This was truly a memory I will treasure for the rest of my life,” said Schillinger. “I will do my best to continue to be a “Woman to Watch in the industry.”
“It’s been a pleasure to see the success Leanne has achieved these past 17 years with American,” said Larry Zavadil, founder and CEO. “She’s an excellent role model for women in the industry and this honor is well-deserved.”
Advantages, an ASI publication will feature the finalists and award winners in its April issue.
